It does not end here.

Hey lovelies,
Did you see the last Harry Potter movie?
I did, on the 13rd (since in Italy came out on the 13th of July :)) and I was totally amazed!
Any of British people reading this were at the premiere at Trafalgar Square on the 11th of July? If you were, please tell me everything, I would have given literally anything to be there!
I saw it on livestream, and it was so great, emotional and tearful! I love Jo's speech and when Rupert said 'What you did for people with ginger hair, I can't put into words..' and Emma's words were so sweet!

Harry Potter has always been a huge part of my life, and most of all childhood: I remember when my sister and I acted in our living room, playing Harry Potter movies, or making butter beers, waving our wooden fake wands in the air pretending to be part of the cast of Harry Potter.
It really feels like something has ended, closed, finished, been taken away from me: but I know I'm probably over reacting.
 The Weasleys:

  Evanna and Emma:

Dan, Tom and Matt (blessing his growth!):

And the woman who created this all:

thank you Jo :)

Are you big Harry Potter's fans?
Do you prefer the books or the movies?
I think, obviously books are better, you can totally dive into another world and forget everything around, but with the movies they did something spectacular, great. Most of the times I feel disappointed about movies based on books, but with Harry Potter I think they did an amazing job!
What do you think?
Tell me everything!

  1. Non sono una fan di Harry Potter, non ho letto i libri nè visto i film! Però capisco benissimo come ti senti! <3
Io su queste cose sono di una sensibilità assurda, quando finisce anche solo la stagione di un telefilm che seguo, vengo presa da un'ansia terribile, se poi finisce proprio la serie, una malinconia assurda!!!

  2. i love both the fims and the books, those are great!! ;)

  3. I was very close to tears when i watched the premiere. Mainly because I really wanted to be there! I also, would have given anything to be there! Emma looking absolutly stunning, i love her new hair cut. I wasnt sure about it at the start, but i love it! Oo, and her dress was stunning. But nothin compared to how cute Rupert looked, I absolutly love him!
I havent even seen the film yet! I havent been able to get there! I was so upset on Friday night, because i really wanted to be in the cinema!
Neville (Matt) has changed so much! He no longer looks like a fat little oddball!

  4. Hey, Followed you back! I absolutely love your blog! and Harry Potter, cant wait to see the last film, eep! Charli xoxo

  5. thanks for your lovely comment :) like your blog very much and the last harry potter was amazing!

  6. We'll miss it!

  7. Matt went to the school round the corner from me in Leeds - I met him at my mate's house party years ago when fame was going to his head - I assume now that he's grown up he is less arrogant but hey hoh!

And Emma Watson's family lived round the corner from me when I was at uni in Oxford, she's coming back and everyone was raving about it when I left!

Loved the movie, it was like the end of an era for all of us because they've grown up making those movies, and we've grown up watching them! It's sad really.

    Glad you enjoyed it too.

Apologies for being a bad blogger recently, I will have a catch up on your posts today. Basically, I finished uni, graduated, moved house (back to Leeds) and got a job. HUZZAH! I will do my best to keep up with your lovely posts :)

All the best, Natasha from The Rambles and Shambles blog.

  8. I can't believe it's over!
I WISH I was at the premiere.
I'm proud to have been the Harry Potter generation though, I don't think I'll ever see a franchise as globally successful as this in my lifetime!
I think the books are better than the films, because the detail in them makes the films so much easier to follow, but the films really do the books justice.
Neville Longbottom got to be a hero, which I loved.
R.I.P Fred, Lupid and Snape :(

  9. I can't believe it's all over. The series made soo much money!

  10. awww I love ALL of them! such great actors. They are all so lucky to be a part of something so amazing, I feel like it's a legacy! I grew up on HP as well, making the fake wands and seeing all midnight showings and all that. I feel the 7th one wrapped it up PERFECTLY! totally teared up.

    The House of Shoes

  11. It's so weird seeing them there all adults and then thinking back to when they were 11, 12, 13 in the same series. I'm really gonna miss the Harry Potter series!

  12. I love harry so much *___* I don't want the story ends :(ce be fan ♥

  13. I loved the Harry Potter books and I'm going to be really sad to see it go. Being a redhead, I have to applaud Rupert's words, so true. And all the hardships and difficulties that Jo went through to get published, is a testament that dreams do come true. xxx

  14. I love all Harry Potter movies! Your blog is amazing. I follow you! I have a new blog, if you like it, please follow me too with facebook and google member. thanks a lot. greets from Germany.

  15. I live in the UK but I don't live near London, it looked really great though I watched the live streaming too xx

  16. eiii! io adoro harry potter :)
bè insomma, l'hai capito: i love Harry Potter :)

    un bacio

  17. Aww you have such a pretty blog! It was quite emotional. I loved the last film hope you did too :) xx

  18. I love the books! I get lost in my own little world reading them, and have read them all so many times. I have to say though I watched the first two films and alot of things were completely different to how i imagined them to be so I haven't watched one since!
I much prefer my imagination to the films!

  19. I agree with everything you said. I grew up with this series so it was definitely hard to leave it behind me. Then again it's pretty representative of growing up: bitter sweet. I will miss looking forward to the next book or movie.
And I cried SO hard during the last one. I was in the cinema with my dad and he was SO embarrassed :P
I guess I'm a bit of a geek on the inside. I mean the highlight of my summer was meeting James and Oliver Phelps :P

    xxx Irinja (
